Donald Trump and the Meaning of Character

Personally, I am a fan of the facts. Everyone can agree on the fact that Rosie is rather large and loud. But we can all also definitely agree that "The Donald" is a boor with really (and I mean really) bad hair.

While Rosie's words on The View were probably not the most advisable ever, I completely agree with her. Where on earth does Donald Trump get off on being the arbiter of what constitutes good behavior, good morals, and good character? Ok, so allegedly, Miss. USA was seen kissing Miss. Teen USA. Yeah, and maybe she snorted a little something. And fine, she probably drinks too much. But, honestly, is she any worse than Paris? Paris Hilton who was accused of making out with women in an MSNBC article as recently as a few days ago? As to her drinking and drugging, I believe the DUI's Paris has accumulated are pretty well documented. So despite that fact that Miss. USA is so generously being given a second chance by "The Donald". Paris apparently needs no second chances because according to Trump she is, "smart like a fox". Apparently all that Viagra has gone to Trump's head.

And while Trump's Paris adoration irritates, he has proven in the past to be far from a good judge of character. After all, in a Larry King interview, Trump said of K-Fed, "I think (he's) fantastic." Yeah, um right. Knock up Shar, then get with Britney, knock her up (twice!), go booze up, and spend her money... interesting Trump finds him fantastic... perhaps it's because "The Donald" also likes to love 'em and leave 'em with a little bundle of joy.

People who live in glass houses should not throw stones. Apparently, "The Donald" never learned this proverb from his mum. With regards to his status as a great businessman, it's really easy to make money when you already have a ton of it. If Trump ever made a good decision in his life, I've never heard of it. And he certainly made the unwise decision to procreate - lots! Three wives, and like a bazillion kids. A daughter with breast implants, and a son married to a Playboy playmate. Yes, Donald Trump's moral compass is clearly on-track.

Bush Loves Gay People?

Color me confused. What is George Bush about these days? I thought he didn't like gay people. Isn't he of the party of Rick Santorum that compared homosexuality to bestiality, pedophilia, and rape?

So even though Bush does not believe in marriage for same sex-couples or civil unions and believes that the notion of same sex marriage should be constitutionally banned. He does believe that Mary Cheney and her (female) partner will make great parents? Yeah it confuses me too!

I do think Mary Cheney, her right-wing tendencies aside, will be a good parent. But Bush's logic is puzzling. And it is just this sort of faulty logic that has Bush's approval ratings below freezing. You can raise kids but cannot get married. You should invade a country that has no weapons of mass destruction.

As a Republican you know you are doing something wrong, when Bob Barr decides to leave your party. (Of course, there is always the off chance that he got evicted based on his "performance" in Borat.)
